The holy grail in wedding planning is working with a couple that absolutely respects your referrals and trusts you to lead them in the right direction. I’ve been fortunate to work with a few of these dream clients…like Jackie and Joe for their NYC City Vineyard Wedding.
The Vision
Jackie and Joe were very open to all things wedding planning as long as it involved two non-negotiables: their desired April 20th wedding date (IYKYK), and incorporating their beloved cats into the celebration… shout out to Alfred, Moh & Peony. As their wedding planner, I was thrilled to bring this unique vision to life.

Finding The Perfect Venue
JunePlumm Events was hired for Premium Planning, which includes wedding venue sourcing. We explored numerous options both in and out of New York City before landing on the perfect match: City Vineyard by City Winery at Pier 26 in Manhattan’s Hudson River Park area. The waterfront location offered stunning views and the flexibility we needed for their non-traditional celebration.

The Transformation Challenge
Once booked, our task began: transforming this traditional riverfront dining venue with live entertainment into an intimate, personalized wedding space that reflected Jackie and Joe’s unique style.
Design Inspiration: Cherry Blossoms Meets Feline Love
Jackie and Joe’s floral design was inspired by their engagement shoot at Central Park during cherry blossom season. We incorporated soft pink blooms throughout the space and anchored their ceremony altar with 2 large cherry blossom trees.
The Details That Made It Special
Getting ready at the Conrad Hotel Downtown, Jackie and Joe started their day surrounded by their closest friends and family. The energy was relaxed and joyful—exactly what we’d hoped for.

A Perfect April Day
The April weather for Jackie and Joe’s wedding cooperated beautifully (April in NYC can be unpredictable), the vibes were immaculate, and City Vineyard’s food was absolutely fantastic. Watching Jackie and Joe celebrate surrounded by cherry blossoms, subtle cat details, and their favorite people was everything a planner could hope for.
Jackie and Joe’s wedding is a perfect example of what happens when couples trust the process, trust their planner, and remain open to thoughtful guidance. When that alignment exists, the result is a wedding that feels effortless, personal, and unforgettable.
